What we do

Eight ways we're here for you

Practical support, gentle company and clear guidance for everyday moments.

Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick.

Come as you are. Stay for what helps.

The group is built around ordinary moments: a chair, a steady room, someone who understands enough to listen without rushing you.

Support gatherings

Our regular gatherings are a place to meet others whose lives have been touched by cancer. There is conversation, practical signposting, and no pressure to speak before you are ready.

Talks by surgeons and oncologists

Medical professionals are invited to speak at meetings so people can hear clear, current information in a familiar setting. Talks are practical, respectful, and shaped around the questions people bring.

Counselling

Counselling support is available at meetings, including one-to-one conversations and group support. It gives people a quieter route when they need space to talk through fear, grief, treatment, or family strain.

Skilled healers

Skilled healers and complementary practitioners support gentle wellbeing at meetings. These sessions sit alongside medical care and focus on comfort, relaxation, and feeling steadier.

Telephone support

Support does not have to wait until the next meeting. Our phone contacts offer a friendly point of call between gatherings for people who want to ask a question or hear a steady voice.

Up-to-date cancer information

We share practical information on cancer support, including wellbeing topics such as diet, vitamins, exercise, and relaxation. The aim is to help people feel informed without being overwhelmed.

Find Me Help service

Through the Find Me Help service, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, we help people find local services that fit their needs. It is practical signposting for the moments when searching alone feels too much.

Grants to individuals

Where funds allow, the charity can make small grants to cancer patients in need. This keeps support practical and close to the everyday costs that can become harder during illness.
You do not need to be fixed to belong.
